Montana-Wyoming Systems is seeking a Low-Voltage and Fire Alarm Technician to deliver excellent customer service while working in the Fire Alarm, Access Control, Video Surveillance, Sound and Clock/Intercom industry.  Duties will range from installation, repairing, inspecting and conducting preventative maintenance all while proving an excellent customer service experience for our clients.  Our client base extends across the beautiful State of Montana and Northern Wyoming.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

Duties will range from installation, repairing, inspecting and conducting preventative maintenance all while proving an excellent customer service experience for our clients.  The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 3-5 years in low voltage systems including fire/life safety systems, access control, CCTV, sound and clock/intercom.
  • NICET II certification required; State of Montana Fire Alarm License a plus
  • Familiarity with NFPA codes preferred
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment up to 70 pounds
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
  • Re-certification or performance testing of low-voltage systems after repairs or system additions
  • Continuing education and training will be provided for system certification
  • Work in compliance with the our Company Safety Policy
  • Pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
  • Willing to travel including overnight stay
  • Typical work week is 4 10 hour days per week with the possibility for overtime

Pay range:  Pay rate $19 - $30 an hour depending on experience, NICET level and other certifications.
